What do you get when you form a team of climbers each with world records to their name? You set some more astonishing records, and that’s exactly what happened on 16 of January, 17:00 hours at the summit of the K2 Mountain.

The all Nepali Team of mountaineers from three different expeditions successfully summited K2 in winter setting the world record for the first winter ascent of the K2. Additionally, few members also did the ascent without the use of supplement oxygen, setting another record to the world.

We at the Temple Tiger would like to congratulate all the team members, the support staff, and all personnel included in the expedition. This indeed was a great achievement and a huge feat. We understand the effort it took and the risk of the winter ascent. Congratulations on both achievements.
