Happy Holi from Temple Tiger!

As the vibrant hues of spring adorn the skies, we at Temple Tiger are delighted to extend our warmest wishes for a joyful and colorful Holi celebration to you and your loved ones!

Marking the commencement of Holi, the festival of colors, was the ceremonial installation of Chir, a bamboo pole adorned with three tiers of vibrant clothes at Basantapur Durbar Square in Kathmandu. This colorful spectacle officially inaugurated the festivities on March 17th, heralding days of joy and jubilation.

Rooted in ancient tradition, Holi holds profound significance, symbolizing the victory of good over evil. Legend has it that in the Treta Yug era, the devout follower of Lord Vishnu, Pralhad, defeated the demon Holika, who sought to harm him. This auspicious triumph is commemorated every year on the full moon day of the lunar month of Falgun, now aligning with the Nepali month of Chaitra.

As the Chir is ceremoniously lowered on the seventh day, signifying the conclusion of the festival, let us embrace the spirit of unity, forgiveness, and jubilation that Holi embodies.

May your life be painted with the vibrant colors of joy, prosperity, and love this Holi season.

Wishing you a Holi filled with laughter, happiness, and cherished moments!

Warm regards,

Basant.
